Remember The Giver

This wall hanging is made, by stitching wool to a cotton background. I enjoy mixing these mediums, and it makes the expense more reasonable rather than working with wool.

The backgrounds of the blocks are pieced… the more fabric the better, right? I love the interest this adds to the backgrounds with the blending of fabrics.

In the class, I will share tips I’ve picked up along the way in working with wool. We will discuss the pros and cons of working with a fusible product or just using freezer paper. Students should feel free to do what they already love doing.
